This is just one example of the hundreds of blades that come through my workshop that are rusted. I needed to take SOOO much metal off this blade before it was back to cutting. The sharpening life of this blade has been dramatically shortened. Just like anything with moving parts, they need to be cleaned (not with water... as this encourages rust), and well oiled during, and post using each blade. A few minutes is all it takes. And will save you $$$.
