❗️1 in 9 Australian women live with endometriosis. If your pain is affecting your life, it deserves to be taken seriously.

🧩 Endometriosis is complex and often misunderstood. Symptoms vary — but they are real.

🩸 Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.

🌪️ It can cause:
• Severe period pain
• Pain with in*******se
• Bowel or bladder pain
• Fatigue
• Fertility challenges

🥀 Small lesions can cause severe pain.
Pain severity does NOT equal disease stage.

🔥 If your pain:
• Stops you going to school or work
• Makes you plan your life around your cycle
• Requires strong medication every month
• Leaves you exhausted

…… It is worth investigating 👀

✅ Diagnosis may involve:
• Detailed history
• Specialist pelvic ultrasound
• MRI
• Laparoscopic surgery (in some cases)

⏳ Early recognition matters.

🌱 Treatment is individualised. Options may include:
• Hormonal management
• Pain management strategies
• Pelvic physiotherapy
• Laparoscopic surgery
• Fertility planning support

🌟 The right plan depends on your symptoms and goals.

🌸 There is no “one size fits all” approach.

💜 You Are Not Overreacting. Your Pain Is Real.

🎯 If you think you may have endometriosis, seek specialist advice.

☀️This March, let’s change the conversation around period pain.

🔍 Early diagnosis.
❤️‍🩹 Compassionate care.
🔬Evidence-based treatment.
