So proud of what this term has become for both Junior and Youth Theatre ensembles 🤍
In just one term, these young performers created and shared a fully realised performance inspired by material from a range of musicals. Both groups performed for their loved ones in the final session, and it was clear both groups were full of trust, joy, and connection with one another and with the stories they were telling.
☂At Encore, there is no pressure to perform, only an open invitation to be brave, curious, and expressive. I feel so proud witnessing students be take ownership of their collaboration & creative process, and being willing to add their own vulnerabilities & individual expression to a story. To then share this preciousness with the added element of an audience is just a cherry on top.
🌈Every session is shaped around the students in the room their interests, needs, and ideas - supporting them to find their voice and expression on stage and beyond. And oh, how we all feel the benefits! ✨
