📌 Common Causes of Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain isn’t always an injury. Most of the time, it builds up.
Common causes I see:
• Poor posture (rounded shoulders)
• Overhead lifting without proper control
• Rotator cuff weakness
• Muscle imbalances
• Sleeping on one side
• Stress & upper trap tension
And for those who train — It’s especially common in people who prioritise pushing movements but neglect rear delts, scapular stability and rotator cuff strength.
Over time, the shoulder loses balance.
Other muscles compensate.
That’s when pain shows up.
Remedial massage can help:
✔ Reduce muscle tension
✔ Improve shoulder mobility
✔ Support posture correction
✔ Assist recovery from training or work strain
If your shoulder feels tight, stiff or sore — don’t wait until it turns into something more serious.
