Apiana Massage

Apiana Massage Remedial & Therapeutic Massage in Nannup Hello, my name is Pia. I am a recently qualified Remedial Massage Therapist.

Prior to this I practiced for 5 years as a therapeutic massage therapist. My massage training included Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (these last two of which were only beginner courses but offered insight into other types of massage techniques and philosophy). Other courses and holistic training I have engaged with include Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Reiki, Shamanic healing. My approach to treatment is methodical within the realm of industry standard Remedial treatment, whilst also founded upon holistic concepts: That the body is capable of returning to its potential for wellness if given the chance to do so, by inviting an openness to healing processes; by welcoming balance; through self-awareness, compassionate self-reflection and self-honesty; surrendering to the flow of life; and gratitude (gratitude, whatever the situation, precludes harmony within the currents of life energy). As a therapist I am informed and intuitive, and deeply dedicated to your care and well-being. The following massage treatments are offered:

- Remedial
- Relaxation
- Deep Tissue
- Reflexology
- Pregnancy

What does Apiana mean? It is a reference to one of my favourite herbs 'Salvia apiana'; which many know of as White Sage, or Grandfather Sage. It is a master healer plant and has helped me through many shifts on my spiritual healing journey. I have a deep love and appreciation for the wisdom of herbs and the power of nature to support us in life. I love to be in nature and connecting with the energy of the land: the plants, animals, rocks, bodies of water... There is so much beauty, depth and wisdom available in nature; unfurling to it is one of my greatest joys. Apiana is also relating to bees, and for me their symbology of life essence is wonderful. Their ability to create life by pollination, and create a sweet elixir (HONEY) within their own bodies is a most beautiful thing. Without bees we wouldn't have gardens, flowers, food. They seek the beauty of the flowers' offerings and create even more sweetness with it. I am inspired by their vitality and life-giving qualities and I feel that they carry a message for us to remember to be truly ALIVE; who hasn't felt that hypnotic thrum against their senses when listening to the hum of a swarm of bees in a tree blossoming with flowers? Relating this back to body work and healing: we are all capable of embodying vitality if we connect with nature, cross-pollinate/share with life, have a Divine purpose and seek sweetness wherever we go.

🧝‍♀️Deep Earth Buddha incense 🌹now available for $17 per 25g box. Lovingly crafted by yours-truly; 100% natural, high-quality incense. No glues or artificial fragrances. And made with so much love. 💗
After many years of attending and holding various ceremonies for healing and sacred ritual, like many of you I deeply appreciate how scents can alter one’s experience of the moment & how they attune a space and make it a sacred container.
Many plants have been gifted with essences able to alter consciousness by their aroma alone (aswell as their plant spirit), and create physiological changes to alter our mood and perceptions.
When the time comes during our day for tuning inwards; for reflection; for healing; for remembering.. certain aromas can really take you there. Invoking that shift into deeper senses and awareness; rich, vast and expansive. All remembering. Anchored. Aligned.
It is in one of these meditative states which came to me this feeling of ancient earth wisdom.. so deep and wise, powerful and immensely loving. Hence the name Deep Earth Buddha.
The dragon reference comes from a similar vein .. and also because I enjoy fantasy novels in which dragons are referred to as wise guardians of the earth, protectors of the balance of natural law.

The rest is for your imagination and remembering to be inspired by…
🔥🙏🏻
