Introducing Polly! 🙌
Our new Paediatric OT!
Polly starts next Monday and is working part time with us. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 🗓️
Her spots are filling already so here's some info about her to see if she's the right fit for you or your child.
Polly Barendrecht is an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years experience supporting children and young people aged 0–18, with a particular interest in early childhood development, play, and parent-child attachment 👶
She combines evidence-based practice with a warm, relationship-centred approach that empowers children and families to feel confident, supported, and connected 🌈
Polly is experienced in working with a wide range of clinical presentations, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and global developmental delay.
Her practice is grounded in functional skill building, executive functioning, sensory processing, problem solving, and caregiver coaching, with a strong focus on helping clients achieve specific, meaningful therapy goals that make a real difference in their everyday lives ✅
She also has additional training in mental health, holding endorsement for the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology 🧠
