BARADINE!

Free intensive swimming lessons kicking off at the Baradine Memorial pool every Thursday from the 12th of February to the 12th of March!

These lessons are fully funded as part of the NSW Government initiative to increase water safety awareness and confidence in the water.

These lessons primarily focus on developing water safety and confidence in young people. Please note, stroke correction is not a priority of the lessons. It will be addressed as apart of safe swimming but the lessons will not focus on strokes for competitive swim. The target audience are those children that need support in water confidence and abilities in the pool.

Why Fatigue Management Matters

Fatigue is more than just feeling tired, it can significantly impact your alertness, reaction time, decision-making, and overall safety at work. Being well rested helps you stay focused, reduce the risk of errors and incidents, and protect both yourself and those around you.

Our app is designed to help you actively monitor and manage fatigue. By recording your current level of fatigue and identifying early warning signs, you can better understand how tiredness affects your performance. The app also explains how fatigue impacts workplace safety, provides practical strategies to counter fatigue, and offers tips to support healthy sleep habits and safer work practices while doing shift work.

Taking a few moments to check in with your fatigue level helps promote safer work habits, better rest, and a stronger safety culture for everyone.

Within the app, you can open simple drop-down sections to explore helpful do’s and don’ts for different ways of lifting and handling loads. It’s designed to make safe manual handling easier to understand and apply during your day-to-day tasks.

The goal is to support better everyday choices that contribute to wellbeing, performance, and a safer working environment.

A safer workplace starts with a well-rested body and mind.

Quality sleep is a critical factor in workplace safety. Fatigue can slow reaction times, impair judgment, and increase the risk of errors and accidents especially in high-risk or demanding roles. Understanding how sleep affects performance is the first step toward safer work environments. Our app shares practical, science-backed tips to help you build healthier sleep habits, recognise early signs of fatigue, and support alertness on the job. By prioritising rest, individuals and teams can work more safely, think more clearly, and reduce preventable risks.

Sometimes you just need a moment to pause.

Before starting a task, our app invites a quick check-in, taking a moment to notice how you’re feeling physically and mentally. From there, it guides you through a Take 5 workplace safety check.

The Take 5 is a short, practical pause to look at the task ahead, spot any potential hazards, and think through how to work safely. It’s about giving yourself space to slow down, get focused, and start the job with a clear head.

No fuss and no judgement, just a supportive reminder that taking a moment can make all the difference to working safely.

Wellbeing at work isn’t a perk, it’s a pathway.

When people feel genuinely supported, it changes how they show up, connect, and grow.

Our Employee Assistance Program is designed to meet people where they are. It offers a clear and compassionate pathway to wellbeing without pressure or judgement.

It includes:
Education that builds awareness, confidence, and practical skills Movement options that support physical and mental health in everyday life Regular check-ins that encourage connection and early support Mental Health First Aid support when someone needs immediate guidance Access to professional counselling for confidential, expert care Ongoing wellbeing support that evolves with individual needs

Wellbeing isn't about quick fixes or one-off initiatives. It’s about creating a culture of care, consistency, and trust where support is always available.

Our program is designed to fit in with any existing EAP initiatives that are already in place.

Safety isn’t just about big systems. It’s built in small daily actions.

Our employee support app encourages simple habits like quick Take 5s, fatigue self-checks, easy injury reporting, and short daily stretch routines to reduce risk before injuries happen.

The more consistently teams check in and log and report, the clearer the safety picture becomes, turning everyday actions into meaningful safety insights over time.

Takes 5’s

Employees can do their Take 5’s at work via our app either on desktop or their phone.

Our Take 5 assessments ensure employees are checking in on themselves as well as the machinery or task they are about to use or perform.

Our bodies are our biggest commodity in the workplace, we need to make sure we are firing on all cylinders.
