It really does work (science is even on board) and has been a huge part of my own healing journey.

With clients we focus first on digging out the dirt (the worries, fears, etc) then put this good stuff back in like this!

First of all we must clarify the difference between low self-esteem and low self-worth...

๐Ÿฉท ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ณ-๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—บ has more to do with lack of confidence, lack of belief in oneself, and feeling inadequate, feeling like they lack the skills, knowledge, or even 'looks' to achieve something.

They may:

โ€ข Avoid people, places or situations so as not to look 'silly' or embarass themselves.
โ€ข Avoid trying new things for fear of failure.
โ€ข Not believe in their current abilities.
โ€ข Put themselves down for the way they look (body image).
โ€ข Often say "I can't" or "I'm not pretty enough/good enough" etc.
โ€ข Be scared of making mistakes.
โ€ข Compare themselves to others.
โ€ข Have difficulty making decisions.

๐Ÿฉท ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ณ-๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ต ๏ธinvolves a deep rooted belief that one is not good enough, and/or does not deserve to be happy or enjoy life. Usually tied up with guilt.

They may:

โ€ข Have negative self-talk such as "I am not worthy" or "I don't deserve to be happy".
โ€ข Self-harm.
โ€ข Feel guilty internally about something.
โ€ข Have experienced abuse.
โ€ข Allow themselves to get sick, look untidy, not take care of themselves.
โ€ข Feel unloved or unable to be loved.
โ€ข Feel undeserving of success or joy.
โ€ข Have suicidal thoughts.
โ€ข Become depressed.

๐ŸŒธ Before you panic (as a Mum, I know your fear) please remember there is help and that self-worth, self-belief and self-love are very much possible ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sometimes we just need a hand to learn how.

If we make talking about things 'normal' and stop hiding what's really going on, a few cool things happen:

โ€ข We align with who we truly are and what we are experiencing at that moment (no more pretending which relieves SO much pressure) ๐Ÿ˜Œ

โ€ข We give the other person a chance to help (which also helps them ๐Ÿ˜‰)

โ€ข We free ourselves of the internal dialogue ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จand heaviness

โ€ข We open ourselves up to new and amazing possibilities ๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ

โ€ข We shift the stagnant and stale energy, changing it up for something more productive ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ

โ€ข We show others it's okay to talk

โ€ข We feel lighter and better within ourselves! ๐Ÿชถ

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธPeople tell me time and time again that they can't meditate, that their mind is too busy, that it's too hard, or funnily enough, that they don't have time...

But what they are really describing and experiencing is their struggle to settle themselves enough to actually meditate.

Nothing bad has ever come from meditation.

Meditation is nothing bar a silence, a peace, a blissful state of nothingness ๐Ÿ˜‡

What you are currently experiencing is the torment of your life, your mind and years of doing, going, being and happening.

Learn to slow things down, sit for even just 1 minute doing nothing.

You will get there, just don't stop, the feeling of true meditation is indescribable ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ™โœจ๏ธ

To the beautiful ladies who came today, my goodness, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

It isn't always easy to face the darkness within, but to be able to share with like-minded and caring women helps so much.

I thank you, I bow down to you, you all inspire me to keep going, to trust, to follow this path.

It isn't me who does this, it is beyond all imaginable, and to that I am forever grateful.

FORGIVENESS ๐ŸŒท

If you are struggling to forgive yourself or to forgive someone else, please do listen to this ๐Ÿ™

To forgive does not mean to forget, or that what you did or the other did was right.

It simply means an acknowledgement and understanding from where one can then let go.

So if your pain is coming from a past mistake, a broken relationship, abuse, whatever it may be, the pain and resentment and regret you hold only makes the body heavy.

"Be the point at which pain does not multiply" as Alan Watts talks about.

Break the link, break the cycle, save yourself, save your children, your family, and the world.

Do not let it ruin the rest of your life like dark poison seeping into the cracks.

Accept, forgive, let go...

Lighten your energy, purify your thoughts, focus on how you WANT to feel.

Let love, understanding, and compassion pour through each and every cell making you well again โ˜บ๏ธโœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ™
