BioAg Pty Ltd

BioAg Pty Ltd BioAg is an Australian-owned manufacturer of soil health, plant nutrition, and fertiliser products. We can provide this.

Environmental sustainability as an issue is an increasing concern for today's and future generations. However from a primary producers view point, increasing the environmental sustainability of an enterprise can result in significant disadvantages to that enterprise. For many producers, the economic impact would mean the end of that enterprise and therefore a reduction in Australia's ability to produce. When developing our range of products in the 1980's and 90's, this impact was well recognised by our founders and this resulted in the current BioAg range. Our products not only increase soil health and plant nutrition, but also lead to greater quality of yield. Want to see trials showing how our products provide returns on investment (ROI) in excess of 700%? Want to see trials showing how our products increase the amount of carbon stored in the soil?

It’s been a tough season for many farmers — dry conditions and lower yields have made it hard to see the payoff from all the hard work.

But with the right program, success is still possible.

Virginia Bond from Welaregang in the Upper Murray has been using BioAg products for 27 years — and this season, her results spoke for themselves:

“We’ve got 970 big square bales and 331 round silage bales off. Considering the year we’ve had, we’re really happy with the numbers,” Virginia said.

“Our BioAg program — spreading 𝘽𝙞𝙤𝘼𝙜𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙨 with lime and gypsum, and spraying out 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 & 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬 later in the growing season on the higher and drier ground, helped even out crops and boost yields.”

Do your chickpeas look like those on the right?

If they don’t, then you should use 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗔𝗴’𝘀 𝙎𝙤𝙞𝙡 & 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙 when putting in your next crop!

These pictures from our customer, a farmer at Muckadilla in QLD, show the huge difference 𝙎𝙤𝙞𝙡 & 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙 can make, with these chickpeas yielding almost double those on the left that didn’t have 𝙎𝙤𝙞𝙡 & 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙 in the program.

So, get it right at sowing and reap the rewards at harvest 💪
Don’t worry, if you think you’ll forget, follow our page and we’ll remind you before it’s time to sow next season 😉

What an incredible few days in 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗲 for the 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗥&𝗗 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺!

From a hands-on bus tour exploring how almond farmers are overcoming on-farm challenges, to learning about the latest research on pest and disease management, new varieties, and best practices — it was a great opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate.

With the 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱-𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗔$𝟭 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 (and still growing!), we’re proud to already be part of this success — helping farmers achieve strong, sustainable yields with BioAg solutions. 💪🌱

We’re excited to keep supporting this thriving industry and the dedicated farmers who make it all possible.

Allan Reid, BioAg’s Area Manager SE VIC and TAS and Ross and Marlene Hanrahan, Gough & Hanrahan Grain & Fertiliser, hosted a morning tea at Strathbogie General Store earlier this week for a group of local farmers to review soil tests, discuss BioAg solutions tailored to their needs, and share ideas and learnings over a cuppa 🍵

Better Soils. Better Crops. Better Stock.

Since 1999 BioAg has been working with farmers to improve productivity, increase yield and build soil health for better returns.

We develop and supply products and agronomic programs focused on improving soil for cropping, livestock, dairy and horticulture enterprises.

Better soils deliver benefits across nutrient use efficiency and crop yields. Growers using our products as part of a planned fertility program see improved soil structure and plant resilience to stressors such as drought, flood, pests or disease.

For graziers, improved plant production translates to better livestock fewer metabolic issues and better production from livestock.
