If rodents and wildlife inhabit your home, garden or surrounds, your dog may be at risk of contracting leptospirosis.

This disease not only poses a significant health threat to your pet but can also be transmitted from your dog to you, thereby affecting your health as well.

Therefore, it is crucial to take preventive measures. We encourage you to discuss with us the availability of a new vaccine designed to protect your dog from this serious illness.

Welcome Onyx, a new member of our vet family. Although she is a newbie to us, she is no stranger to vet visits. She has to be one of the shiniest dogs we've ever seen and it is clear that she is desperately loved by Mum and Dad.

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our clinic cat Suki. We know most of you did not know Suki. She was a quiet girl and mostly unsure of reception. She was diagnosed first with Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anaemia, the treatment for which caused secondary diabetes and chronic liver problems. When first diagnosed her prognosis was 12 months. She gave us an extra 2 years. She was the quiet comfort behind the consult room doors. She was a constant positive presence in the bathroom, ready to greet and cuddle. Hovering on the office lounge for pats and scraps. Loitering in doorways for drive by kisses. Observing our newest clinic cat for areas of improvement. She often had short episodes of unwellness, we knew one day we wouldn't be able to bring her back to health. Last week we faced that day. We love you so much Suki. Thank you for the extra time we had with you.

We all know the cone of shame, the satellite dish, the doughnut of doom.... And now poor Rufus knows it too. I'm so sorry Rufus, it isn't forever and it is there to protect you (and to help Mum and Dad get international TV stations)
