💙 World Diabetes Day is a powerful reminder of how exercise supports prevention and management.
At Taylor’d Exercise Physiology, we emphasise the benefits of both cardio and resistance training:

✔️ Cardio exercise (walking, cycling, swimming) helps improve cardiovascular fitness, manage weight, and enhance insulin sensitivity.
✔️ Resistance training (weights, bands, or bodyweight) builds muscle mass, boosts metabolism, and improves blood glucose control.

Together, they create a strong foundation for long term health and diabetes management. 🌍✨

This World Diabetes Day, let’s raise awareness and move towards a healthier future, one step and one rep at a time.

At our clinic, we see firsthand how resistance training can transform health and well-being. Beyond building strength, the benefits include:

✔️ Improved blood glucose control
✔️ Increased muscle mass & metabolism
✔️ Stronger bones & reduced risk of osteoporosis
✔️ Enhanced balance, posture & injury prevention
✔️ Better overall quality of life

Resistance training isn’t just for athletes - it’s for everyone. Whether using bodyweight, bands, or weights, consistent training supports healthier, stronger living. 💪✨

🦴💙 Today is World Osteoporosis Day – a global call to action for better bone health.

At Taylor’d Exercise Physiology, we know that strong bones are built through movement and lifestyle choices. Exercise plays a key role in:

✅ Building bone density
✅ Improving strength and balance
✅ Reducing the risk of falls and fractures
✅ Supporting long-term independence and wellbeing

Some examples of exercises that you can do at home to help with preventing/treating osteoporosis include:

✔️ Bench push up
✔️ Curl to press
✔️ Step ups
✔️ Kettlebell deadlift
✔️ Banded row
✔️ Standing marches

It’s never too early - or too late - to take steps for healthier bones. Start small, stay consistent, and your future self will thank you. 🙌

World Mental Health Day | October 10 💚

At Taylor’d Exercise Physiology, we see every day how movement can change more than just the body - it transforms the mind.

Regular exercise has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and build resilience, making it a powerful tool for supporting mental wellbeing.

Today’s a reminder to prioritise your mental health, move in a way that feels good, and check in with those around you. 💬💪

You’re never alone - and every step toward better health counts.

Over the month we stepped, paced, walked, and even danced our way to support people living with Cerebral Palsy 💚 Together, we’ve raised awareness and kept moving for an incredible cause.

And for the record… Lachlan finished the month just 31 steps behind Josh. Talk about a photo finish! 📉😂

Thanks to everyone who donated, supported, cheered us on, and joined the journey - every single step counted.
