Truth (when we’re ready to receive it) has the power to set us FREE.

Small habits and choices aligned with truth are SO impactful and the effects ripple outwards, splashing fairy dust into all sorts of dark corners which we may not have ever believed could be illuminated.

Whatever your heart’s desire, there is a way.

‘Miracles’ are possible if you are truly ready to receive them.

(Bloody frustrating when we’re not! And believe me, I’ve been there too!)

🔥 So often it’s the subtle shifts which make the biggest ripples.

I’ve been blown away by this AGAIN recently with two tiny changes:

1. Stopping to chat to an elderly man I normally only wave to on my morning walks.

2. Putting instagram and Facebook back on my phone.

Seemingly minor actions with HUGE impacts.

The former leaves me with a feeling I can’t quite put into words for the entire day.

A mix of gratitude, bliss and deep connection.

This results in the activities the old me might have considered ‘chores’ becoming joyful and DEVOTIONAL by default.

No affirmations required.

The latter… I mean. 😳😳😳

It’s hard to comprehend the effect on my mind and skin. 🤯

(Jaw dropping very single time!!)

Scrolling hasn’t been on the table for for 6 months.

And being back on socials without the required ‘muscle’ has meant the odd bit of scrolling AT NIGHT.

The most dehydrating practice I know of.

Which is marking the return of NOTICEABLY gaunt, lackluster skin with pigmentation flaring in just a couple of weeks!

So taking apps off my phone (a simple choice made with the support of my personal cheer squad each time)…

is more impactful than my entire SKIN ROUTINE and LIFESTYLE put together!

This is my jam, ladies.

This is how we simplify in the midlife window!!

🔥 When we live out of alignment with our biology, we need sequences, hacks and strategies just to keep the fallout at bay.

And for women desiring more vitality, this can result in LISTS, with endless BOXES to tick. 😅

And when Instagram feeds you more and more boxes… overwhelm and paralysis can set in.

What if we can throw them ALL away and JOYFULLY redesign and realign small pockets of our lives…

in slightly eccentric (read: traditional) ways? 😇

Want to know the latest small change I’ve made in the last few weeks?

Ditching my active wear and wearing a DRESS on my morning walks! 🤣

Seems inconsequential but this is the prime time for lymph to be flowing! It makes ZERO sense to don restrictive clothing at that moment, even if it’s a natural fabric!

Of course I’ll need to do skin brushing and lymph sequences if I’m unwittingly blocking the flow throughout my day.

And don’t get me wrong, I ADORE skin brushing and morning lymph sequences… but when I FEEL like it. Not because I’m plugging holes!

Did I feel weird on the first day walking in a dress?

Yes. I absolutely did! 😆

Day 5? I was rocking it.

I strutted around like a flowy feminine GODDESS blessing the neighbourhood with my radiance! 😎

Being inspired by a village of other eccentric women making these changes is game-changing.

We don’t have to be weird alone, ladies. We can do it TOGETHER! 👊

🤔 If hormones are not the cause of symptoms in the midlife transition…

The realization that it’s how we’re living (and perceiving) can feel heavy in a season where we’re often under-resourced already.

The good news is: we DON’T need to do ALL the things ALL the time! 🥰❤️

Often when we do the thing we’ve been avoiding or neglecting, there is a surge of returning life force…

Which can give us the momentum to tend to ourselves from a place of pure delight and *DEVOTION* instead of rigid discipline and to do lists.

This is a season where women learn - perhaps for the very first time - the biological needs they’ve been neglecting.

There’s a huge gift in that, if we’re open to receiving, ladies. 🥰😘

Daniel is the author of one of my favourite books of the past few years, 'Can You Catch A Cold?' and was a respected senior lecturer teaching Natural Medicine...

Until he wanted to speak the truth. 😉

In our interview, he discusses some of the evidence which falsified the idea that perimenopausal symptoms are caused by hormonal activity way back in the 90's.

These conclusions have naturally been overshadowed ever since by more profitable outcomes... the nature of the game.

In this interview, Daniel dives headfirst into reworking concepts which personally took MANY months to wrap my head around, back when I first started questioning them.
