I’ve learnt & embodied a lot about health over the years, though formally educated, it has been through my own experiences & feelings that I have learnt my limits and well, how to feel GOOD. Life is NOT a sprint and extremes will have you in a PUSH-PULL relationship with yourself.. for me, I love that stability & consistency with how I feel.

SUSTAINABLE WELLBEING isn’t about quick fixes or extremes. It’s movement, nourishment, rest, and boundaries that you can actually maintain. Somedays you might need more, somedays you might need less, but it’s starting to listen and asking “what do I need today?”

Consistency over intensity. Balance over perfection. Showing up for yourself every day, however that might look for you.

Big love Lex ❤️

RENOURISH is still out there flourishing particularly in this last week we have had some massive leaps 🌸

It is funny to think back this time last year, Warren & I were deep in the writing process and one year on, we are still pinching ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who has support us, come along to events, written & connected via messages which I will always get back to and found some solace in the book. We know treatment for EDs can be expensive and hard to access so we hope this brings a bit of light.

Big love Lex & Warren ❤️

Coming to the end of 2025, I’ve been reflecting on the work and a way of living that has mattered most to me this year.

This year was defined by advocacy continuing to speak into spaces that shape how we talk & educate about bodies, food, health, and wellbeing, particularly for children, families, and communities navigating diet culture and disordered eating.

In 2025, that advocacy took many forms:

- Publishing Renourish with incredible Warren Ward a book grounded in lived experience, evidence, and compassion

- Speaking at professional conferences and forums committed to more ethical, human centred approaches to health

- Opening my clinic to help support those going through eating issues and their families and carers

- Contributing to national conversations through ABC platforms, helping challenge harmful narratives and offer more nourishing ones

- National & International Media contributions

What I’m most proud of isn’t volume or visibility it’s integrity. Showing up consistently, even when conversations are uncomfortable. Holding nuance in a world that often wants simple answers. And continuing to centre care, dignity, and balance in both my professional and personal work.

As we move toward 2026, my focus remains the same:

creating spaces through clinical & support work, writing, speaking, advocating and collaboration that support sustainable wellbeing and recovery.

Thank you to everyone who read, listened, invited, challenged, and supported this work along the way.

Here’s to deeper conversations, braver advocacy, and work that truly nourishes.

Kindest Lexi

Without a doubt, one of my realest & rawest conversations yet with ABC Conversations

This has definitely been up there with life experiences and being a guest on the podcast. So many younger days I thought I wouldn't be here. Talking about Anorexia, Recovery & our book RENOURISH.

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey and enjoy the listen.

Look after each other hey

EATING DISORDERS QUEENSLAND - AGM 2025

It has been 10 years since I first walked in the door at Eating Disorders Queensland someone who had been through an ED wanting to help normalise & grow the voice of lived experience.

It all started here on the journey that has gotten me here today. An eager volunteer with a passion to help & make change. Working on the peer mentor program as a mentor & senior mentor, hospital & professional development speaking before Covid came and made some changes and live took another direction.

Belinda Chelius has grown this organisation to be empowering and full of hope & what has been lacking HELP. I haven't been around for a few years and to come back was the epitome of what happens when you don't give up passion with wanting to make change.

It was a privilege last night and I mean it, for Warren Ward & I to come present RENOURISH at the annual AGM. Belinda has this way of rallying hard and supporting people and we could more honoured. Your work is admirable B and everyone involved.
It was one of those nights regardless of what is happening on life where you find yourself in the presence of big hearts, hope, resilience and straight up warriors.

So nice to connect with past mentees & people who hold a special place but it was never like.. it's humans connecting with each other who may be in a different part of their journey.

EDQ you are incredible - bring on 2026.. Only getting stronger and louder. Thank you for having us and the support of Renourish and thanks for all that you do
