Today Dr Holland explains what it means when an IVF cycle is cancelled.

During an IVF cycle, the dose of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) is carefully chosen based on your AMH levels and age. Sometimes, the ovaries don’t respond as expected. In those situations, it’s often best to pause the cycle and restart with an adjusted dose giving you the best possible chance for success.
