Craig presented a PD session today for Swimming NSW on Swimmer’s Shoulder — one of the most common issues affecting competitive swimmers. Craig shared evidence-based strategies, screening tools, and practical tips to help physios, coaches and S&C staff treat and prevent swimmers shoulder.

Brittany and Jack have spent the last three days completing the Australian Physiotherapy Association's Level 2 Sports Course. This course is part of the pathway to becoming a specialist sports physiotherapist. Our senior physios, Andrew and Caitlin also presented at this course. Andrew presented on tendinopathy, and Caitlin presented the paediatric athletic content. They enjoyed being able to share their knowledge with the next generation of sports physios!

Jack and Brittany attended the APA's Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 course in Sydney over the weekend. The course provided them with essential skills to support athletes at all levels. They are both excited to be backing it up with the Level 2 course this weekend!

Our physiotherapist Paddy has been taking over from Ben's role as Vestibular Physiotherapist. He has completed his introduction to Vestibular Physiotherapy Course earlier this year and has been managing patients with dizziness over the past three months. Vestibular physiotherapy can be very effective for conditions such as BPPV, cervicogenic dizziness, vestibular migraines, vestibular neuritis and more. Below is an example of an assessment tool Paddy will use as well as what a positive response looks like on the following video.
