2025, what a year 🤍

Thank you to every single person who has walked through the doors of Heart Aesthetics Hobart, sent a kind message, or shared their experience with friends and family. Being trusted with your faces and stories has made this year busy, full and genuinely enjoyable.

As a one-person clinic in New Town, I spend my days treating patients, answering calls, booking appointments, ordering stock, cleaning rooms and juggling all the little details. It has been a lot of hard work, but I have loved every moment.

To my long-term patients who chose to follow me to the new clinic, your decision to keep seeing me is something I never take for granted. To every new patient I have met this year, it has been a privilege to look after you, whether that involved treatment or simply honest advice that doing nothing was the right choice for now.

I have also loved introducing Tixel to Hobart this year, giving patients another option for focused skin treatment, including around the eyes, with plans tailored to safety, comfort and recovery.

TIXEL offers both ablative and non-ablative skin rejuvenation. Ablative settings deliver a more intensive treatment for deeper lines and scars with a longer recovery. Non-ablative settings are gentler, usually completed over several sessions, with minimal downtime.

TIXEL device uses a heated titanium tip with tiny pyramids (approximately 400°C) that makes millisecond contact to create micro-channels and transfer focused thermal energy. These controlled micro-injuries stimulate new collagen and elastin, helping refine texture, soften lines and improve skin firmness and clarity for a healthy, glowing look. Results and recovery vary.

Pair the treatment with topicals such as Exosomes or NCTF boost 135ha immediately post-procedure to support hydration, repair and glow.

Right after microneedling, keep your skin clean and calm. Swap to a fresh pillowcase, sanitise your phone screen, avoid sun exposure and heat, drink plenty of water, and skip makeup until your skin settles.
