Prioritise your mental wellbeing and remind yourself that it's alright to feel however you do. Take moments to breathe, reflect, and seek support if you need it. Whether it's reaching out to loved ones, practicing mindfulness, or simply taking a quiet moment for yourself, it's important to look after your mental health. πŸ“’ Let's talk about a difficult topic – the lasting trauma of abuse. It's heart-wrenching to realise how damaging this experience can be, and often, the pain doesn't just fade away. What's especially hard for survivors is when people around them support the abuser, turning the tables and casting the victim in a negative light. πŸ˜”

This kind of hurt and pain can linger in the body, creating an ongoing anxiety and pain and because of the lack of true closure, it can feel impossible to fully heal. Survivors deserve to be heard and supported, not further damaged by the injustice of disbelief. Let's stand with them, uplift their voices, and work towards a world where they feel safe and validated. πŸ’ͺπŸ’™
