When anxiety comes you try to escape it.
But
What you resist persists.
When you escape anxiety you are signaling to your mind/body that it is something to be feared. That is the moment you give away your power, your control.
What you observe becomes weaker.
Next time you notice anxiety arising instead of avoiding it, suppressing it, being fearful of it just sit with it. Acknowledge the discomfort is there. You don’t have to like it. You just notice it. Allow it to pass through you like clouds gently moving through the sky.
The only way to heal anxiety is to face it. To feel it. To heal it and then let it go.
