UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN.
YOU CAN’T HEAL WHAT YOU IGNORE

Most people never heal because they don’t even realise they are avoiding their pain. They stay stuck in cycles of self sabotage, unhealthy relationships and numbing behaviours without understanding where it all comes from.

Healing starts with awareness. You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge.

Ignoring your pain does not make it disappear, it buries it deeper, making it harder to heal.

So the first step is to recognise the patterns and the root causes behind them.

Pain that isn’t healed repeats itself in different forms. If you don’t face it, it’ll keep showing up in your choices, reactions and relationships.

When anxiety comes you try to escape it.
But
What you resist persists.

When you escape anxiety you are signaling to your mind/body that it is something to be feared. That is the moment you give away your power, your control.

What you observe becomes weaker.
Next time you notice anxiety arising instead of avoiding it, suppressing it, being fearful of it just sit with it. Acknowledge the discomfort is there. You don’t have to like it. You just notice it. Allow it to pass through you like clouds gently moving through the sky.

The only way to heal anxiety is to face it. To feel it. To heal it and then let it go.

How to remain in control of your Mind and Body

Here is a simple example-
A man was cutting something using a very sharp knife. His boss kept telling him to be careful as the knife is very sharp and he could hurt himself.

The man then focused his attention more on how sharp the knife was and the fear of cutting himself and experiencing such hurt and pain that he lost control of his hand coordination and cut himself.

The man blamed the knife for his pain. It was too sharp so his boss gave him alternatives, a knife that was more blunt.

The problem wasn’t the knife.
It was that the man lost control of himself, his physiology (body) and his psychology (mind) resulting in experiencing pain.

He relied on something outside of himself to dictate the outcome. He took in what someone else said and believed that the knife had greater control of him than he did of the knife.

All he needed was a steady hand.

When survival is the goal... purpose, clarity and direction don’t even exist.

Every version of ‘success’ you’ve ever chased was about survival, not alignment.

Which is why it always felt heavy, empty or like you were meant for more.

Youve spent your whole life scanning for danger... not possibilities.

That’s why everything feels overwhelming.

Youve mistaken your trauma responses for your personability your entire life.

You don’t know what you want because you’ve never met the real you beneath survival.

Confusion isn’t the problem. Its Protection.

You’re waiting for clarity but what you’re actually waiting for is safety.

The secret to killing anger is to kill ego.
Kill the parts of you that needs the world to be a certain way.

You get angry because you feel entitled to control things you were never meant to control. You think the world owes you respect. You think people should behave how you want. You think life should be fair.

You need to train yourself to expect nothing. To be comfortable with discomfort. And when you expect nothing, no one can disappoint you. No one can anger you.

Anger is control being taken from you.
It is NOT a sign of power and strength rather weakness and easily defeated.

Anger doesn’t live in external events. Anger lives in your minds inability to be still. You get angry because you can’t sit with discomfort.

You need to teach your mind to be like a still lake. When the lake is calm you can see clearly to the bottom. When it is disturbed by anger you see nothing.

It’s not about controlling anger. It’s about becoming so still internally that anger cant even arise. You must learn to maintain stillness regardless of outside circumstances.

You must learn to observe the thoughts, anger, criticism, judgement, triggers and fear like you are observing someone else’s life.
Detached, curious and not personally invested.

Choose stillness over rage.
Silence over anger.
