✨ Baby Development: 3–4 Months Old ✨
At 3–4 months, your baby is growing rapidly – stronger, more alert, and starting to really engage with the world.
But for many new mums, this stage can also bring new challenges (and lots of questions).
Some common struggles we see around this age include:
🤍 Difficulty feeding on one side
🤍 Poor or shallow latch
🤍 Clicking or slipping off the breast/bottle
🤍 Baby always turning their head to one side
🤍 Preference to look one way when lying or feeding
🤍 Flat spots developing on the head
🤍 Tension, arching, unsettled behaviour
🤍 Refluxy or gassy babies
💭 And no – this doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong.
During birth and early development, babies can develop tension through the neck, jaw, shoulders, or spine, which may affect how freely they move, turn their head, or coordinate feeding.
🌱 How gentle chiropractic care may help:
• Supports healthy movement and symmetry
• Helps release tension through the neck and body
• Encourages easier head turning both ways
• Can support feeding mechanics and comfort
• Works alongside lactation consultants and other health professionals
Chiropractic care for babies is gentle, specific, and tailored to their tiny nervous systems 🤍
✨ If something feels “off” with your baby – trust your mum intuition.
Support early can make a big difference for both baby and mum.
You’re not alone, and support is available 🤍
