In memory of Aden Nenkervis 🤍🕊
He was a wonderful friend to many, the one who was always seen to be smiling, with a laugh both so addictive and contagious. You couldn't help but feel happy in his presence
Aden was a man who was larger than life and held great pride in all that he did with big dreams and accomplishments. Many in Aden's network wouldn't see his struggles until it was too late.
We are saddened by the news and want to put a reminder out that as a community, we all matter, our mental health matters, and ensuring support is so important.
Just because you see us smiling and turning up each day doesn't mean the internal battles and head noise doesnt apply, and for many, ultimately, this drowns internally over time.
Mental health can look different in presentation and is mostly invisible.
Call that friend, check in, and please don't forget your strong friends. They need us, too.
A strong person doesn't become strong by not having felt the depths of life, surviving storms, and fighting the battles.
You will be forever missed, Aden, and forever so close to our hearts.
A go fund me has been set up for the family, and I encourage you to give what you can, no matter how big or small, as it all counts.
