💧Access to Hydrotherapy Facilities – Hunter Region (Maitland)💧

At VHCC, we’re always looking for ways to better support participants and the wider NDIS community.

We’re pleased to offer access to our warm-water hydrotherapy pool in Maitland — available for use by participants, support workers, and allied health professionals.

While we don’t deliver hydrotherapy services directly, our space provides a safe, accessible environment for therapy sessions, rehabilitation, and low-impact exercise.

Our pool is maintained at a therapeutic temperature of 33–34°C, making it ideal for:
✔️ Physiotherapy and exercise physiology sessions
✔️ Mobility and strength-based programs
✔️ Rehabilitation and recovery
✔️ General wellbeing and low-impact movement

We understand that access to appropriate facilities can sometimes be a barrier — and we’re proud to offer a space that helps bridge that gap between clinical supports and community-based outcomes.

👉 If you’ve ever struggled to find suitable hydrotherapy access for a participant — this may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

If you’re a Support Coordinator or Allied Health Professional looking for a hydrotherapy space for your participants, I’d love to connect and chat further.

🌿 A wonderful afternoon with our VHCC participants & staff 🌿

Our Lunch in the Park might have been rained out ☔ — but that certainly didn’t stop us!

Due to the weather, we moved the gathering to our Maitland office, and it turned into a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together indoors.

It was so lovely to see many of our participants and team members join us for good food, great conversations and plenty of smiles. 😊

While everyone was here, we also shared the exciting vision for the upcoming Maitland office renovations, giving people a glimpse into what we’re working towards creating — a welcoming space that will support connection, programs and community for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon such a success 🙌

We’re really excited about what’s ahead for VHCC and our Maitland space 🌱

At our VHCC Christmas party, we took a moment to catch up with two of our wonderful leaders — Jen, our Operations Manager in the Hunter Region, and Temina, our Regional Manager for the Dubbo Western Region.

During the conversation, Jen asked Temina about Dubbo, the local culture, and what makes the Western Region so special. Temina spoke about the strong sense of community, the importance of understanding local culture and Country, and how these values shape the way VHCC delivers supports in the region.

They also reflected on what VHCC’s growth into Dubbo and the Western Region means — not just expanding services, but building genuine relationships, supporting local communities, and staying true to VHCC’s values as we continue to grow.

Last week, VHCC proudly celebrated our 2-year anniversary in Ballarat, marking an important milestone in our journey of supporting individuals and communities. It was a fantastic evening filled with connection, conversation, and reflection on how far we have come together.

We were grateful to be joined by our dedicated staff, community partners, and supporters, whose ongoing commitment continues to shape the work we do every day. A special thank you to our guest speakers, including Mark Boathe from Forensicare, who shared valuable insights and contributed meaningfully to the evening.

The event provided a great opportunity to network, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the collective efforts of everyone involved in VHCC’s growth. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our 2-year celebration in Ballarat such a memorable and successful event.
