Hello lovely friends and clients of Flying Kite OT!

I'm super excited to share that I have opened up a separate holistic mental health occupational therapy service, Alchemise Holistic Therapy, specifically catered to women and girls (trans and non-binary welcome) living with mental health concerns and/or trauma.

I will be operating Alchemise Holistic Therapy one day per week on Wednesdays out of the serene Urth Studio in Redhead.

In line with the latest research in trauma-informed therapy, I will be providing a mix of cognitive and somatic (body-based) therapy for the most effective outcomes for my beautiful clients and NDIS participants. All therapy is gently paced and client-led, creating a safe space for self-discovery and growth.

I will still be providing functional capacity assessments (FCAs) through Alchemise Holistic Therapy, with a mental health and trauma focus.

I will, of course, continue to be operating Flying Kite OT as a mobile therapist as usual on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Alchemise Holistic Therapy, like Flying Kite OT, is a neuroaffirmative practice that welcomes individuals of diverse backgrounds, sexual preferences and cultures.

Super excited to launch the official website (and these nifty new logos)! 🥳🤩

The intention is to reflect a few changes to my therapy services. In order to provide more targeted therapy to all of my valued clients, services will now be primarily catered towards neurodivergent adolescents and adults, and those living with mental health issues. 💜

Of course, due to the complex relationships between mental health, social wellbeing, physical disability and neurodivergence, I will continue to offer functional, housing and assistive technology assessments in order to provide individualised, yet holistic therapy. ✨

​I will additionally be implementing ecotherapy (outdoor and nature-based therapy) where feasible and appropriate to optimise mental health outcomes while improving physical health and capacity-building in a range of functional (and fun!) activities. 🌿
