February has been an extremely exciting month for our team. We have had some new additions to the team and in tandem have made some significant strides in growing our clinic. As many have been aware, we have been hard at work here at Ace making some long awaited renovations and changes to the clinic layout. We want to thank each and everyone for their patience in this time, bearing with us over this past month.

Finally the time has come however and we are very close to finishing up. So watch this space over the coming weeks as we get the chance to show off all the amazing improvements we have made to our home.

We would like to take this time to welcome the newest addition to our Ace Rehab Team, Omer. Omer joins Ace as part of our Physiotherapy team, providing some strong depth to the squad.

Omer is a caring and approachable Physiotherapist with a strong interest in helping people improve their movement and function. He is trained in Manual Therapies, Dry Needling, Cupping, and Exercise Assessment and Prescription and has a dynamite smile.

Outside the clinic, Omer enjoys watching combat sports and values simple things like a walk by the beach. In the clinic, he takes a practical and empathetic approach, focusing on understanding your concerns and delivering clear, structured care to support your recovery and return to activity.

So make sure to give Omer a warm welcome if you see him in the clinic over the coming weeks.

The team at Ace are excited to announce some very important changes coming to our Chiropractic Schedule for 2026. From this week Dr. Angela will be joining our team 2 days per week, working closely with Dr. May as an integral part of our Chiropractic service. Dr. May will also be making changes to her scheduling, now opening bookings for afternoon appointments 3 days per week. We would like to officially welcome Angela Battaglia to the Ace Team. Angela will be covering Dr. Taromi Taia for the coming months while she is out on leave. We could not be more excited to have her on board and look forward to working alongside her.

Angela is a skilled Chiropractor having gained experience from both Chiropractic and Osteopathic Backgrounds. With a heavily patient-centred approach, Angela employs a variety of techniques including Spinal adjustments, Joint Mobilisations, Soft Tissue Therapy and Exercise therapy to ensure the most effective treatment for each individual. Angela also specialises in TMJ treatment and treats a host of diverse patients from those with postural concerns and sporting injuries to post-surgical recovery. Some highlights from last weeks very successful Community Balance and Falls Assessment Day at Levande Retirement Village. This Assessment Program was designed by our team to identify those in the Community who were a falls risk, identify their area's of risk/impairment and provide opportunities and options for intervention. We would like to thank everyone from the village who came down and took part in such an important initiative and we cannot wait until the next one.
