The neck isn’t always treated directly to see improvement.
In this case, threads were placed in the lower face and jawline, not the neck. Repositioning heavier tissue above improves the jaw-to-neck transition and reduces downward pull
This patient has more advanced neck laxity, and improving the neck wasn’t her primary goal. Thread lifting works best in mild to moderate laxity because there’s still enough structural support in the tissues for the threads to reposition and hold effectively. When laxity is more severe, skin quality and excess become limiting factors
We don’t routinely place threads directly into the neck, the skin is thinner, more mobile, and results are less predictable. Often, correcting the structure above gives a better outcome
