To celebrate International Day of People with Disability ( ), our Community Supports team in Warabrook shared what the day means to them. 💜✨
With some staff and customers heading along to events in Swansea and Gillieston Heights today 🎉, and others business as usual 👋, our CEO David Carey is encouraging people to take some time to think about the history of the day. 📖

He shared: ‘’This year’s IDPwD theme is: Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.’🤝 The theme emphasises the importance of creating inclusive environments that support the rights and wellbeing of persons with a disability. 💪
The annual event came into being in 1992 through the United Nations 🇺🇳 and has been a global recognition of the contribution of people with a disability in society.” 🌟
