Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time outdoors, with a particular love of hiking.

It can help a GP assess heart rhythm and rate, and look for signs of heart stress or other concerns.

An ECG is a quick, non-invasive test.

It’s a chance to talk about:
• Your current health and medications
• Safety and independence at home
• What support services you use
• Any concerns you’d like your GP to know

The nurse takes the time to listen and record what matters to you.
Your GP will then discuss your health priorities with you at the same visit.

Dr Isabel Watkins provides general practice care with a focus on children’s health and skin cancer management. She also performs minor procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy and small excisions. Dr Watkins has worked in the Hunter region for many years and continues to expand her skills through further study in dermatology.

We want to let our community know that Dr Watkins will be leaving Mayfield Medical Connection in mid-January 2026. We will miss her and wish her well for the future.

MMC offers iron infusions when clinically appropriate and prescribed by a GP.

An iron infusion gives iron directly into the bloodstream through a cannula.

A GP will assess whether an infusion is appropriate based on blood tests and your medical history.
