🌱 Grounding Meditation 🌱

This is such a beautiful meditation that I turn to all the time. You can do this anytime you’re feeling stressed and need to ground.

You could be at work, walking the dog, at the shops or even driving! Just imagine roots coming out of your feet and travelling deep into the earth. Connecting to your breath, feeling supported by Mother Nature and grounding down.

When I say “story” what I mean is your life story.

What paths you have taken to shape you into the person you are today. The different landscapes you have travelled through— the joys, the hardships, the perseverance, the blessings, the people you met along the way.

Each person carries their own life lessons, teachings and messages that the other person may need to hear. You don’t know how your story will impact another person— what new perspective it may give them, what nuggets of wisdom they may take away, what speaks to their soul.

Sharing stories are really just two humans coming together and sharing their human experience, getting to know and honour what shaped the person sitting across from them.

So I invite you to share your story with those around you, hold and honour the stories of others and allow the power of storytelling to ripple out 🌟

It’s called boundaries my love 🫶🏼

Maybe the next stage of your healing isn’t becoming softer, quieter or more understanding.

Maybe it’s becoming clearer.

Boundaries aren’t about aggression.
They’re about self-respect.

They’re the moment you realise:
• You don’t have to over-explain yourself.
• You don’t have to tolerate behaviour that drains you.
• You don’t have to shrink to keep the peace.

Sometimes healing looks like compassion.
Sometimes it looks like saying, “That doesn’t work for me.”

And yes — sometimes it looks like deciding who no longer gets access to your energy.

Setting boundaries isn’t about pushing people away.
It’s about protecting your nervous system, your time, and your emotional safety.

If you’re in a season of learning to say no, honour that.

Setting boundaries may be sticky, uncomfortable and unfamiliar, but it’s an act of self love.

A gentle reminder that you do not have to be good at art to get the most out of art therapy 🎨

I don’t believe in “good” art, I believe that art is an expression of the soul that has a story to tell. That story might be messy, wild, raw and chaotic. It might be expressed through scribbles, blotches, shapes or an array of colour. Whatever it may be transpersonal art therapy holds a space for it all.

When was the last time you questioned why you don’t believe your art is good? When was the last time you gave yourself full permission to EXPRESS? 🫟🖌️💫

A beautiful thing that we can gift to ourselves on any day is the magic of self love.

I think sometimes we shy away from the act of self love as we are told it is “selfish”. Or we feel weird or awkward giving ourselves hugs and kisses. But ask yourself why? Why do you feel this way?

There is something really beautiful in being able to sit with yourself and give yourself the love, comfort and support that you crave, without having to seek it from an external source.

All that you need is within you. You only live with YOURSELF for your ENTIRE life. So you may as well love yourself unconditionally and show up for yourself in a way that no one else can.

So why not try hugging yourself or giving yourself some kisses? See what happens 🤭💗

Symbols can be really significant and hold a lot of meaning, but sometimes we don’t know what it is straight away and have to dig a little deeper.

There are so many universal symbols that circulate our lives which we have already attached meaning to. For example: ❤️= love, ☠️= death, 🕊️= peace, 🗝️= freedom, etc.

Symbols are integral to our daily lives, serving as a powerful language that transcends words. But sometimes really unusual symbols may arise that we don’t yet understand.

This may happen when you’re creating art, out on a walk or driving along the road. When this does, I invite you to pause– sit with it, explore it and see what messages the symbol may hold 🌀

Transpersonal Art Therapy is some of the most powerful and potent therapy I personally have ever experienced 🌸

The word ‘transpersonal’ means moving behind the ego. In a session you may be guided through meditation, breath work, movement or music that ultimately takes you into an altered state of consciousness and out of your thinking/ everyday mind.

From this place you are able to connect with your authentic self, inner wisdom and anything that you have buried deep– old stories, patterns of behaviour, limiting beliefs, traumas, etc.

You are then called to express using a range of different art material. You express in a way that feels right for you, knowing that you are the true master of your journey. Whatever needs to come out will, just trust, be open and watch what unfolds.

✨it’s time to get your arse on the grass✨

You know those sh*tty days that leave you feeling exhausted to your core and you know you need to turn to your self care practices to make you feel better, but you just don’t have the energy.

I invite you to go and lay down on a patch of grass. Allow the earth to hold you, to support you and to alchemise your anxiety’s as you let them flow through you and into the ground beneath.

A quick fix, no energy required, mindful hack that will make you feel just that bit better.

You’ve gotta love Mother Nature and her medicine 🌻

What if you truly had a space where all of you was welcome?

Not just the parts that are polished or easy to share — but the messy, raw, beautiful, honest parts too. ⛈️

So many of us move through the world wearing the masks of the roles we have to play. But beneath that is the truth of who we are — the feelings we hide, the stories we carry, the parts still finding their way home.

Transpersonal art therapy invites you to express all of it. Through colour, texture, movement, and symbol — you begin to uncover what words can’t always hold.

So ask yourself: How would you show up if you felt completely safe to express your true self? 🌻
