We are pleased to announce Newcastle Ultrasound for Women as a silver sponsor at our upcoming Endo Gala event.
Newcastle Ultrasound for Women (NUFW) is a bespoke imaging service that has performed gynae and obstetric ultrasound scans in Merewether for 20 years.
They are located within the grounds of Lingard Hospital and they operate in tandem with Genea Newcastle.
NUFW pride themselves on offering a personalised experience and take great care in not only performing the ultrasound scan but also communicating the findings.
With more than 30 years of combined experience in ultrasound, their dedicated female sonographers, Alisa and Candice, have earned a reputation of being knowledgeable, thorough and caring. They are supported by two highly experienced doctors in Dr Jillian Spilsbury and Dr Glenn McNally.
The sonographers at NUFW love nothing more than providing the ongoing care of pregnancy, through ultrasound. Whilst checking for fetal abnormalities, from the dating scan through to the end of the pregnancy, they are able to provide the most amazing 4D images of the developing baby.
NUFW also specialises in gynae ultrasounds for women of any age. These may include young girls having their first scan where extra care is needed. Women experiencing endometriosis and pelvic pain as well as women with fertility issues. They also provide a safe and caring environment for the LGBTQIA+ community who may find scans daunting.
At the other end of the fertility journey are women approaching and dealing with perimenopause and menopause who also find NUFW a comfortable place to have their scans.
