It’s so exciting that all of these awesome community organisations will be in the one gorgeous spot next Saturday. Green Thumb Social in collaboration with Newcastle Libraries and the Newcastle Seed Library volunteers are hosting a free plant and seed swap. Bring anything a green thumb would appreciate 🪴📚🥑🧅There will be seed saving workshops with Frog Permaculture, Newcastle Men’s Shed will be on hand for a garden tool repair session and the City of Newcastle’s Environmental Education Team will present a workshop on planting for pollinators 🐝🌻🦋🌱

These photos capture the cuteness and warmth at the Green Thumb Social events. The next free plant and seed swap is back at Lambton Library on Saturday November 2nd from 10am-12pm. Everyone is welcome, it’s family friendly including our four legged babies. If you have been before you will know that there are amazing coffee options and an incredible children’s playground behind the library that make for a great morning in Lambton. Bring anything a green thumb would appreciate, think plants, cuttings, fruit, vegetables, gardening books and magazines and seeds 🪴🫛📚🍓🌱
