Tummy time isn’t just “exercise”… it’s brain + body development from day one 💛
For newborns, a little tummy time helps:
Stimulate brain development and connectivity
Develop spinal curves
Integrate primitive reflexes
Facilitate visual function Strengthen neck, shoulder + core muscles
Support head shape + reduce flat spots
Build the foundations for rolling, crawling + sitting
Improve coordination and body awareness
Support breathing and digestion
Start small — even 1–2 minutes at a time, several times a day counts.
A little often is better than one big session 😊
