In last week's episode of Maggie Beer’s Big Mission, on ABC TV, the culinary icon spoke about the importance of getting texture and nutrition right so that older people living with conditions such as dysphagia can still enjoy mealtimes.

‘Not everyone has the ability to chew and swallow’, Maggie said, ‘nearly two-thirds of aged care residents live with this condition.’

Maggie is one of the expert panellists on our upcoming webinar: Food for Thought: Your Choice, Your Rights. Specific diets, and access to allied health professionals, such as speech pathologists, will be among the subjects explored. The last episode of Maggie Beer’s Big Mission airs tomorrow night at 8:30 PM on ABC Australia. Or you can see the entire season on ABC iview: https://iview.abc.net.au/show/maggie-beer-s-big-mission
