Over the long weekend Rob and I were very grateful to attend MediHerb Master 2026 in Canberra. It’s always a fantastic opportunity to step away from the clinic for a moment and spend time learning from some of the leading minds in nutrition and herbal medicine, with the aim of bringing better strategies back to our patients.
We were fortunate to hear from Professor Tim Crowe, one of Australia’s leading nutrition researchers, who spoke about the role of dietary polyphenols and how these plant compounds influence inflammation, metabolism and long-term health. It was a great reminder of how powerful whole foods can be when it comes to supporting the body.
We also heard from Adrian Hubner, Head of Practitioners at Integria, who presented on cognitive decline and practical ways clinicians can support brain health through lifestyle, nutrition and targeted supplementation.
To finish, Professor Kerry Bone, widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading herbalists, delivered an excellent presentation on cardiovascular health and how specific herbal medicines can support circulation, vascular integrity and heart health.
All of the presentations were packed with practical clinical insights that we’re excited to integrate into patient care.
MediHerb continues to set the standard in practitioner-only herbal medicines, with a strong emphasis on quality, evidence and traditional knowledge. It’s always inspiring to be surrounded by practitioners who share a passion for improving people’s health through natural medicine.
