Always happy with a touch of gentle sadness when you see a patient on their final follow up visit. Adrienne was one of my first cancer patient on the central coast. I am so happy (politely) that I can discharge her from my services now that she is 5 years post treatment.

Grade 2b gynaecomastia requiring, whole gland excision subcutaneous mastectomy, liposuction and round block skin reduction.
This patient had significant gynaecomastia that was causing him both discomfort and low self esteem. I resected 141grams of breast tissue from the left and 158grams from the right. As well as liposuction of 300mls of fat from the chest. Round block skin reduction technique was used to avoid contour deformity.
This procedures allowed the patient more self confidence to go to the gym and build the muscles and shape that he always wanted. Before and after photos are 14 month apart.

Gynaecomastia (male breast) surgery. The medical term for this operation is called subcutaneous mastectomy. I combine this with excess skin removal called round block mammoplasty and liposuction in this patient to avoid skin puckering and improve aesthetics. After photos are 6 weeks following surgery.

Excision of right breast cancer + bilateral breast reduction and right sentinel lymph node biopsy

One of my favourite operations. This delightful patient had right breast cancer. I removed her breast cancer, at the same time did a breast reduction. All together more than 1.7 kgs of breast tissue was removed. Notice the darker pigmentation on her right breast which is due to radiotherapy as part of her cancer treatment.

Using breast reduction techniques to remove breast cancer allows me to remove the cancer with a wider margin as well as better aesthetic outcome.

After photos are 5 months following surgery.

Bilateral revision of breast implant, total capsulectomy, change of plane and one stage augmentation mastopexy

This lovely patient had bottoming out, double bubble and malposition of the 15 year old breast implants. They were placed under the breast tissue only performed by another surgeon elsewhere. It dropped significantly with time.
I did a one stage removal of the 400cc old implants with total capsulectomy, breast lift with correction of ni**le position, reshaping of the breast tissue and replacement with 350cc anatomical implants under the muscle in one procedure. With a breast lift and revision using smaller anatomical implants it is now in much better proportion with her torso.

After photos are 3 weeks following surgery
