If you’re new to EFT tapping and not sure where to start, this video’s for you.
Here’s a quick guide to the main tapping points on your body, from the top of your head down to under your arm, and how to use them to calm your body’s stress response.

You don’t have to get it perfect. Just start tapping on any of these points when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or tense.
Even a few rounds can help your body release stress and find its way back to calm.

Over time, tapping becomes second nature, something you can do anywhere, anytime, when life feels heavy.

Save this post for later, follow along for the next video where I’ll show you how to use these points with simple phrases to release emotions and reset your nervous system. 💜

When your nervous system feels balanced, everything else gets easier.

EFT tapping isn’t about forcing positivity, it’s about creating safety in your body.

It helps you meet stress, grief, or overwhelm with awareness instead of resistance.
Here’s how it can support your mental health:
✨ It helps you process big emotions during major life events
✨ It calms your body in moments of stress or anxiety
✨ It builds emotional resilience when practiced regularly

Because real mental health isn’t about ignoring what you feel, it’s about having the tools to meet it with acceptance, compassion and calm.

If you’d like to learn more ways to use EFT in your daily life, follow along here. I share simple practices to help you regulate your nervous system and reconnect with yourself.

When your nervous system is running on high alert, EFT gives your body a way to exhale.

When your nervous system is racing, your body’s trying to protect you.
But when that alert state never switches off, it starts to feel like you can’t slow down, even when you want to.
EFT tapping helps calm the body’s stress response, lower cortisol, and send a signal of safety back to your system.
You can’t think your way out of survival mode, but you can teach your body how to come back to calm.

You can’t always control what’s happening, but you can calm how your body responds.

When you’re in the middle of stress or overwhelm, you don’t need a perfect EFT script.
Just start tapping.
Acknowledge what you’re feeling, even quietly in your own mind.
As you tap, your body starts to calm, cortisol levels drop, and your nervous system gets the signal, it’s safe to relax.
Simple, quick, and surprisingly effective.

You don’t need a big routine to feel calm, just a few mindful moments a day.

EFT doesn’t have to be complicated, it just needs to be consistent.
A few mindful minutes a day can make a big difference in how calm, centred, and grounded you feel.

Here are 3 of my favourite times to tap:
☀️ 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 – release any stress or uncertainty about the day ahead, then tap in calm, confidence, or focus.
🌙 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 – unwind, lower cortisol, and let your body know it’s safe to rest.
🔄 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 – reset your energy before moving from work to home (or vice versa), so you’re not carrying stress with you.

These small moments teach your body that calm is safe, not just in theory, but as a real, felt experience.

We’re not meant to be positive 24/7, we’re meant to feel, process, and move through.

So many people think mental health means being happy, calm, or positive all the time.
But real mental health is about learning how to meet your emotions safely, even the uncomfortable ones.

That’s what EFT helps you do. It teaches your body how to calm, regulate, and release instead of suppress.

Sometimes the best therapy isn’t deep work, it’s the small moments that make you breathe again.
Find what lifts your spirit, and make space for more of that. 🌿

This might change how you think about emotions forever.

We’ve been taught to manage or suppress emotions, but the truth is… they’re not the problem.
They’re messages from the body asking to be acknowledged, felt, and released, not controlled.

EFT tapping gives those emotions a way out, instead of pushing them down.
When you tap, you’re telling your nervous system, “It’s safe to feel. I’m listening.”
That’s when real calm starts to settle in.

You don’t need a full routine to feel calm, just a few minutes of tapping.

When you’ve had one of those days where your body still feels tense, even though you’re home and trying to rest, this is for you.

Try tapping before bed or between parts of your day (like work to home).
It helps calm the nervous system, lower cortisol, and tell your body it’s safe to let go.
You can tap through the points while reflecting on anything that felt stressful, or on what you don’t want to carry into tomorrow.

It’s one of the simplest, most effective ways to release tension and reset your energy, especially when your mind won’t switch off.

A few minutes can make all the difference.

What if the decisions you make every day aren’t about willpower… but wiring?

The truth is your energy blueprint, formed in your nervous system early in life, quietly shapes how safe you feel to:
✨ Say yes or no
✨ Speak up or stay quiet
✨ Play small or go after what you really want

Patterns like people-pleasing, overthinking, or fear of being seen aren’t random.
They’re protective responses your body still holds.

The good news? Once you can see this blueprint, you can start to rewrite it.

Mental health isn’t about staying positive, it’s about feeling safe in your body, even when things are hard.

Tapping helps your body learn safety as an actual felt experience, not just a mindset.
That’s what emotional resilience really is.

When you use EFT regularly, you’re not trying to stay positive all the time.
You’re giving your nervous system a way to release tension, process emotions, and return to balance.

✨ Here are three powerful ways tapping supports your mental health:
1️⃣ It helps you process big emotions during major life changes.
2️⃣ It calms your body in the middle of stress or overwhelm.
3️⃣ It becomes a daily grounding practice that keeps your system resilient.

Because mental health isn’t about 'mental toughness', or 'being strong', it’s about awareness, compassion, and having tools that bring you back to calm, balance and clearer thinking.
