💙 Honouring 96 Years of Service 💙

After nearly a century of dedication, the Nhill Hospital Auxiliary has made its final donation, marking the end of an extraordinary chapter in our community’s history.

Since 1929, generations of volunteers have supported Nhill Hospital with fundraising, friendship and a deep commitment to patient care. Their legacy is felt in the equipment they funded, the comfort they brought to others, and the community spirit they helped build.

We’re excited to share that a brand-new specialised X-ray machine (OPG) has been installed at Nhill Hospital!

This is a big win for our community — it means locals can now access comprehensive imaging services right here in town, instead of travelling long distances for care.

⚠️ Community Health Update ⚠️

Gastroenteritis is currently circulating in our area. To help protect our residents, patients and staff, we kindly ask community members not to visit if you have experienced gastroenteritis symptoms within the past week.

We also ask that visits to our Nursing Homes be limited to those that are necessary during this time.

We offer the MMR vaccine to adults aged 20–59 who haven’t had two doses. Many adults only had one as children, leaving them at risk. Getting vaccinated protects you from measles, mumps, and rubella and helps keep babies, family, and the community safe.
