Therefore I understand what you need to get the best results for a quality cover up. Can cosmetic tattoos (like brows) be removed?

Yes, they absolutely can be removed. But cosmetic tattoo ink is very different to traditional body tattoo ink, which is why the process can be more unpredictable.

Cosmetic inks are often made up of multiple mixed pigments, not just carbon (black), but also underlying tones like red, orange, or yellow.

These pigments can react differently when exposed to laser. In some cases, they may:
• Lighten as expected
• Shift to a different tone (e.g. darker, warmer, or grey)
• Take longer to break down
Because of this, we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach.

That’s why we always start with a test spot.

This allows us to see exactly how your pigment responds before moving forward with a full treatment plan. It helps us:

• Choose the safest settings

Freshly treated skin + sun exposure is not a good mix.

After a laser session, your skin is more sensitive and vulnerable, and sun exposure can lead to:
• Burns
• Blistering
• Pigmentation changes
• Slower healing

We want the laser focusing on the ink, not competing with a tan or irritated skin.

So think: shade, cover-ups and no direct sun while your skin heals.
