Yin is on with me tonight at 5:30 at Shambhala Yoga Shala 🙏🏼 What is Yin? In Yin we hold a pose for a longer period of time (usually seated or lying down) and we use props (bolsters, blocks) to support the body and release the tension in target areas, stretching and rehydrating the soft tissue. Yin invites us to sit with discomfort, to return to the breath and gives our whole being a chance to rejuvenate and replenish. We are encouraged to meet our physical and mental edge and to soften wherever we can. Hope to see you there 😊
