🎨🧠 Children's Art and Relaxation Therapy Groups- Creative Healing in Action! 🧠🎨

We’ve had an amazing time in our children’s art and relaxation therapy groups this school holidays, using creativity as a path to self-awareness, emotional regulation, and fun!

✨ Activities included:
🪨 Painting stones while learning grounding techniques- a hands-on way to stay present and calm
😴 Decorating sleep masks as we explored the importance of good sleep hygiene and bedtime routines
🎨 Painting squishy fidgets while talking about sensory regulation and healthy ways to relax
🧪 Making slime as a fun, sensory-rich activity that supports focus, stress relief, and emotional regulation
🦁 Designing animal masks to express emotions and explore different parts of ourselves
🧸 Creating foam dolls to support imaginative play and connection

Facilitated by our Mental Health Social Worker/Counsellor in our purpose built counselling room.

These creative sessions not only spark meaningful self-discovery and joy, but also help children build emotional tools they can use every day 💚

A heartfelt thankyou to Neami National Perth Metro Su***de Prevention Team for their ongoing support. The grant funding allows us to offer these creative, therapeutic workshops at no cost to families- making mental health support more accessible ✨️
