Our pharmacist, Kevin, swam to rescue this turtle which was floundering in the breakers and unable to submerge due to possible plastic in its stomach. A turtle rescue volunteer was soon on the scene. The turtle was identified as female, named Spirit and taken to Sea Life in Mooloolaba for rehabilitation. Fingers crossed for a great outcome!
