currently practising Skin technology and Kinesiology, in Sunshine Beach, on the Sunshine coast. I discovered kinesiology 8 years ago on my own personal journey , and fell in love with this amazing therapy. It lead me to have a further interest in learning and studying more about a holistic approach in healing and understanding the body. I appreciate the influence of my mother who has always encourage me to look towards natural medicine growing up. progressive kinesiology is a holistic and natural approach to assist and alleviate many common imbalances that occur in the human body. by using simple muscle testing, this modality is able to identify the root causes of your symptoms. These imbalances can occur from many sources:nutritional, emotional, energetic or structural. Kinesiology can define specifically what your body needs, and how to restore it and bring your body back to balance. Some of the techniques included are: Positive affirmations, EFT, Flower essences, food sensitivity testing, Vitamin and mineral testing, Lymphatic massage and many more.

Flower essences work to balance negative states of mind such as anger, resentment and insecurity. These negative emotions break down the immune system and leave the body vulnerable to illness. Not only do they help on an emotional level but also on a physical one. Below are a few flower essences which can support skin disorders.

Acne: five corners| for disliking yourself, to increase self love and help your inner beauty to shine.

Eczema & psoriasis: billy goat plum| for physical loathing, to accept & respect your physical body.

Rashes: green essence| To help heal the skin from yeast & parasite infections.

Why I do what I do- I like to make people feel good and if it’s creating a space so they can shut there eyes and switch off, have some down time, or vent about what’s on there mind then my job is done and that’s okay.

Essential oil’s ~ emotional medicine!
Did you know that Smell is the most sensitive of all our senses and the fastest one to change our moods!

Have you ever experienced a memory from your past that was triggered by a smell?

Aromatic plants have been utilised for hundreds of years to alleviate emotional and physical ailments such as insomnia, depression, anxiety, muscle spasms, tension and some cognitive disorders.

Kinesiology uses very simple muscle testing techniques to help clarify the body’s needs and determine which essential oil would be appropriate in bringing balance to the body and mind. ✨

Essential fatty acids such as Omegas 3 and 6 are the building blocks of healthy cell membranes and vital for our skin. Unfortunately our bodies are unable to synthesise them.

EFA’s keep important things like water & nutrients in your cells to keep your skin hydrated & plump, whilst also excrete fats & cell waste.

So remember! Supporting your skin internally is just as important as supporting your skin externally!

Over the years as I developed more of an awareness to my body I became super sensitive when it came to certain foods. Whether it be a craving for something I needed or a reaction to something I didn’t need.

Sometimes it can be tricky trying to decipher what your body is telling you. kinesiology is a great modality that can give answers, which uniquely supports the individual.

🍄Example🍄
~something you need~ A craving for mushrooms could mean that you are lacking b vitamins in your diet.

~ something you don’t need~ Mushrooms are a fungus, so if you have a candid overgrowth in your gut then eating them will cause the yeast to thrive and multiply, which can then lead to various health problems.
