// Hip Injuries in Yoga //

How can we teach and practice yoga in a way that reduces hip pain and injury?

If this sounds like you, one of the best things I would encourage you to do as a student or as a teacher is to work more on building glute muscle strength.

Avoid or use props to modify deep hip compression postures if there is still pain, such as happy baby pose, or deep lizard lunge.
