We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Exercise Matters team — Keegan Bean 👋

Keegan is a Sunshine Coast local and Accredited Exercise Physiologist who brings a calm, supportive, and genuinely caring approach to every session. With over six years of experience in the fitness and allied health space, he has developed a strong foundation in helping people move better, build strength, and feel more confident in their bodies.

Keegan has a particular interest in shoulder rehabilitation — from rotator cuff injuries and impingement through to post-surgical recovery — and enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities.

What stands out most about Keegan is his ability to make people feel comfortable from day one. He takes the time to listen, understand your goals, and tailor programs that are practical, achievable, and grounded in evidence.

He’s already making a great impact in the clinic, and we’re confident our community will love working with him.

We’re proud to support the incredible community at Noosa Masters Swimming Club 🏊‍♂️

Many of these dedicated swimmers are also part of our group exercise community at Exercise Matters—putting in the work both in and out of the pool to build strength, improve bone health, and stay performing at their best.

The health and fitness journey is rarely linear - especially at my age & stage of life.

It’s been stop-start at times, with health challenges & unexpected life events along the way, but my recent DEXA scan was a really encouraging reminder that small daily habits add up….even when it doesn’t seem like it on the outside.

With the help of Exercise Physiologists at Exercise Matter, I have improved my muscle mass, reduced my visceral fat, lowered my health risk factors, and my bone density is normal for my age. The DEXA tells you what the scales can’t.

It’s easy to think progress only counts when everything is perfect, but often it’s the small things done consistently that make the biggest difference over time.

A good reminder for me to keep showing up, even when it’s hard. Some days good enough is good enough.
