Historically, in my family if has been generational lore that if you visit a practitioner such as a chiro or physio you are soft and probably exacerbating the issue.
"Everyone that I know who has seen a Chiro once, has to keep seeing them"
The stock I've been bred from is especially robust and vigorous.
That being said, in January I was building a pig shelter and while squatting down my back just locked. I couldn't stand or sit, I was just squatting on the ground and couldn't move. I rolled onto my side and dragged myself to my buggy and crawled in. I drove up to the house leaning over the drivers wheel and when Mrs W saw me she said I looked like I was having a stroke.
Even with 2 walking sticks, I could barely move. I essentially crawled into an appointment with a local practitioner and I briskly walked out. Since this appointment I've tried to be more "on top" of what my body has been telling me.
Last week I booked in with FlourishAlbury. I walked into my appointment and walked out, skipping all the crawling stuff.
During my appointment I was asked "do you hang anything from your hips? Like a toolbag?". I said no, I don't. The practitioner mentioned my symptoms displayed like I did.
Well, while rolling out fences this week I discovered that I do indeed hang things from my hips 😂🤦♂️
