Why an empty bucket?
As Newborn Photographers, we are constantly sharing photos of newborn babies on our pages but this month we are taking a break to share photos of our empty setups. The empty setup symbolizes not only the emptiness that women with infertility often feel but are also a symbol of hope for these women that when their miracle arrives, we will be here to celebrate with them!
I am joining newborn photographers around the globe in honor of Infertility Awareness Week (April 21-27} in the project. We are posting our empty bucket setups to raise awareness for the strong women, battling infertility and loss and to offer a visual beacon of hope for them.
1 in 8 women struggle with Infertility and 1 in 4 struggle with Loss. Please share this post and feel free to share your own story to help raise awareness and remind these women that they are not alone! If you would like to stay anonymous you may also email somethingtorememberphotography@gmail.com with the subject line "Buckets of Hope", and I will share your story anonymously in the comments of this post.
