Today, Eden Care Support Services had the distinct honor of speaking briefly at the Zim Golf Day at the beautiful St Lucia Golf Links. As the saying goes, "Golf is life, and life is golf," but today was truly about the "life" we are all building together.
Operating from North Lakes and surrounding areas, our seventh core value at Eden Care is Social Responsibility. We believe deeply in supporting initiatives that give back, which is why we were incredibly proud to be the sponsors of the Women’s World Cup today. A huge congratulations to the winner once again, Ronnie Iosua! 🏆
Beyond the greens, our hearts are with the mission of Hands of Hope Zimbabwe. The construction of Transformation Centers and the educational support they provide isn't just about donating; it’s about building a future for children who need it most.
We shared a story today about a boy saving starfish on a beach. When told he couldn’t possibly make a difference to them all, he tossed one back into the safety of the water and said, "It made a difference to that one." Every golf ball hit today and every collective effort made for these Transformation Centers is like that starfish. We may not be able to solve the world's problems all at once, but because of today’s process, it makes a world of difference to those children.
We were so pleased to hand out starfish keepsakes today to remind many of you that your work and your heart matter. To the organisers of Zim Golf Day: thank you for allowing Eden Care to be part of this journey.
