🌟 Let’s Talk About ADOS-2 Assessments 🌟

You may have heard your therapist or paediatrician mention the ADOS-2 — but what exactly is it?

The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) is a play- and conversation-based assessment used by trained clinicians to help understand a child’s communication, social interaction, and play skills.

At Sunshines, we use the ADOS-2 as part of a comprehensive assessment process, working closely with families and other professionals to ensure a supportive, accurate, and child-centred approach to understanding each child’s strengths and needs. 💛

If you’ve been wondering whether an ADOS-2 might be helpful for your child, our team is here to guide you through the process and answer any questions.
