Make a Wish for Bowel Cancer Patients This page is to help the men & women that suffer from bowel cancer & also for information on how to get tested. Bowel cancer doesn't discriminate on age.

This site is to help fund the needed support and resource to Help Bowel Cancer patients and their loved ones. There is a need for funding for the following.

1. Assist with petrol cost to get to appointments
2. Assist with car parking costs at Hospitals
3. Assist with medication costs
4. Assist with accommodation costs

We would also like to be able to offer funding to the patient and partner to be able to have a weekend away.

What's wrong with telling the truth Bray Park Community Church?? Don't just delete my message and stick up for your members. What about Richard Beukema?? I was his partner and his family have gone against his wishes. He wanted his ashes given to his family that wanted them and I was to have some. I went to the funeral home to collect my share and porky told the funeral home not to let me collect them after the funeral home had phoned me to let me know they were ready to be collected. This has gone on for two years. The Beukema family need to be accountable for their wrongdoings.

It's all about control with this family and when Richard was alive they showed there faces when it suited them. Love and respect was not one of there strong points. I cared and loved Richard for over 4 years. Shame on you Beukema family and also the church for supporting them.

A year today you passed away. A year on and never a day passes are you forgotten. I stand by my words to you and live life. I do as you asked of me to keep my head high and to keep your memory in my heart. I miss you so much BEUKY, but glad your no longer in pain. I pray that one day I'm able to find your resting place. Nothing more painful than watching someone at the end of their life because of cancer, trying to look good but after chemo and radiation you know the person physically changed and they're in shock!! I know many of you do not give a damn of this message because of course, the cancer has not touched you. You do not know what it's like to have fought the fight or had a loved one who leads a battle against cancer. For all the men and women I know, I ask you a small favour and only some of you will do ... If you know someone who has led a battle against cancer, still struggling or who passed, please add this to your status for one hour as a mark of respect and remembrance ...

I'd like to thank all the people that have supported this page. I would like to be able to continue to grow this page and be able to support the people that are in need in remembrance of "BEUKY" Richard and I started this page as this is what he wanted. My partner is now dying from this disease. It is so painful for him some days his pain is under control and others it's just so unbearable. Please go get checked out. Take the test.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is an annual initiative of Bowel Cancer Australia running throughout the month of June (1 - 30 June 2014), to raise public awareness of a disease that claims the lives of 77 Australians every week.

Bowel cancer is the second most common type of newly diagnosed cancer in Australia affecting both men and women almost equally and is Australia’s second biggest cancer killer after lung cancer.
