As I start my Christmas holidays, I am in awe of what God has done as I reflect over this year - new clinic, new knee, new beginnings - just to name a few.
While I celebrate all the amazing things that have happened in my own life this year, I also know that there is so much going on in our world right now, things that we can all struggle to understand why and find no answers, things that we personally can’t do anything about, things that make no sense at all.
In Hebrews 11:1 we are reminded that “Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus I encourage us all to remember, that even in the hard, God is with us.
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).” - Matthew 1:23 NIV
In a world so desperate for hope, there is one thing we all can do, it costs nothing and has a huge impact - we can all be light and love wherever we are.
There is an old song that says “What the world needs now, is love sweet love, no not just for some, but for every one of us.”
My prayer for us all this Christmas, is that we will all put down our phones and be intentional with whoever is in front of us….in our families, our communities, our businesses, our Churches….wherever you are, be present, be light, be love……that’s something we all can do…..and it’s free for everyone.
Imagine if we all just did that….how impactful that would be on our world.
As I wrap up this year, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I pray you get an opportunity to rest and restore, to spend time with and appreciate your loved ones.
I look forward to helping you all achieve amazing health in 2026 and continuing to shine my own light and love in whatever ways I can.
