Unbound Athletic offers 24 CrossFit classes and an aditional 13 classes in HIIT, GRIT, Strength and Skills as well as over 70 hours of open gym each week. We also offer personalised programs, nutrition coaching, 1 on 1 personal training and supervised creche to suit the individual needs of all of our members.

We’re not cheerleaders.
We don’t clap average reps and call it progress.

We’re big on standards — because standards are what actually make you better.

With the Open around the corner, this matters more than ever.

If you’re training to loose standards now, don’t be surprised when you get caught out later.
Testing is always an expression of your practice.

You can’t get mad on testing day if you didn’t do the work.
And here’s the reframe most people miss 👉
you also can’t get mad if you only partially did the work.

Half reps. Soft lockouts. Loose movement.
They all show up when it counts.



What defines a good coach?

A good coach isn’t defined by hype, volume, or how smoked you feel after a session.

A good coach is defined by their ability to get you more results for the same amount of time.

Let’s be clear:
• Coach A makes you train 3 hours a day to get 20% better
• Coach B makes you train 1 hour a day to get 20% better

Coach B wins. Every time.

More for less.
Because anything else usually comes at the cost of sleep, recovery, work, family, or long-term consistency — and that’s not smart coaching.



Why we hold standards

Holding standards means:
• You get more return on the time and effort you’re already putting in
• Your skills actually transfer under fatigue
• You don’t get exposed when the rules tighten (hello Open 👋)

It’s not about being strict for the sake of it.
It’s about respecting your time and not wasting your effort.

We correct because we care.
We hold the line because we know you’re capable of more.

We’re now 2 weeks into our Jan T-Block and the theme is clear — tighter time caps, tighter standards, better intent.

This block is built around what shows up year after year in the Open:
• triplets & cleans
• common couplets + burpees
• back squat strength & grip
• machines paired with snatches
• partner and team workouts to build intensity and pressure

Yes, this is CrossFit Open 2026 prep — but even if you’re not competing, learning how to get more out of every minute of every session is still a massive win.

Training with purpose beats just getting sweaty.
