Last week, Tabitha, Ella, and Hannah travelled to Sydney for a 3 day course on Orofacial Myology with . This area of Speech Pathology is not often heard of however it looks at a range of oral and facial muscles, postural and functional disorders which may impact typical development and growth.
The days were long but if they weren't we wouldn't have learnt so much and we can't wait to apply what we learnt in our everyday practice.
ESSP now have 5 Speech Pathologists trained in OFM!!

MEET THE TEAM WEDNESDAY

HANNAH is our senior speech pathologist who has been with Early Start for 10 years.
10 years...how lucky are we. Mum of 2 gorgeous boys and a therapist with a heart of gold. Hannah leads our clinical management and supports the team with supervision and clinical matters to all clinics.
Hannah loves cooking and baking, has a super power of knowing all of monster truck names (cue boy mum) and loves working with clients who are exploring AAC options.
